Search it. Find it

In my previous post, i said that I want a good quality television program. I will show you one of my favorite website that have a good quality content and, of course, it's inspiring me. It is https://www.ted.com/ , you can find a lot of video from inspiring people around the world. TED have tagline "Ideas worth spreading". when I watched video from TED last year, I really satisfied and impress. TED give me answer about good quality content. I will give you one video that I like. I embedded that video in this post. She is Jennifer Doudna, one of the researcher that found CRISP technology. i won't tell you what is the contain of the video, you can watch it.

I assume that you have watched that video. what do you think? are you curios about CRISPR? or you already get severe head damage? for me I had all of that. once I watched those video, it's like I have struck with thunder. and then I search her original paper, I read it. I searched another paper that related to CRISPR technology, I also read it. The more I read the more I get dizzy. I barely understand how they can apply that technology in organisms and modify its DNA.

Modifying DNA becomes reality, wow that is something big. I imagine that now people can freely modify DNA, super human technology is coming dude. CRISPR technology is like a knife, in good person it will help a lot of people. I graduated from faculty of agriculture, i thought that maybe it is good to use CRISPR technology to modify plant genome, create a good variety crops that highly resistant to pest and plant disease.
In other hand, this technology can also lead us to the doomsday. it's like a shortcut, super human. mutant and weird creature made by a crazy scientist? come on dude, i am not ready for that. I agree with Jennifer that we should halt to use this technology before we can really sure it's safety.

That is one of my favorite video from TED, I will share about TED video again in the future. well see you later, my dearest reader.
