Robot for Agriculture

who doesn't know about drone? an unmanned flying robot that have a lot of purposes, from military, aerial photograph and many more. even know, you can buy or made your own drones. what will i share about today TED talks episode is how if we use drone to help farmers monitoring their fields. Prof Vijay Kumar from the University of Pennsylvania explained about his creation of flying robots with his team that inspired from honeybees. He demonstrates robot that can swarm like insect and small size drone that won't be break during a collision. in the last part of his presentation which is my favourite part he explain about drones in agriculture. using infra red camera he can monitoring the condition of the plant in the field. can distinguished with plant have diseased and which one is not.
It is very interesting presentation, i was a student in faculty of agriculture. honestly, i am impressed to him. because he cares about agriculture with his passion. sometimes we need people from different education background to solve problems in agriculture just like what Vijay Kumar did.
